The season finale is right around the corner and our very own Freezepop are going to help everyone get through all of the drama! The synth-pop trio's song "Frontload" will be featured on Monday's season finale episode of The Hills. It airs on December 22nd at 10pm on MTV so don't forget to tune your keytars, and tune in!

Oooh, cool stuff alert for the new year and spring 2009! Don't think that we here at Ryko will let you rest for even one minute! Just as soon as you're recovered from all of the fun holiday festivities, our very own Elf Power are already throwing neat stuff your way.

First off, the elves have a whole new slew of dates lined up supporting Vic Chestnutt. Earlier this year, Elf Power and Vic collaborated on a release entitled Dark Developments (out on Orange Twin). They've been continuing this collaboration on tour, with Elf Power opening each show with songs off of their latest Ryko release, In A Cave, and then finishing off the night as Vic Chestnutt's backing band. The second leg of their tour has just been announced, so check out the fresh dates for 2009 below:

If you haven't gotten your fill of Elf Power by February, don't stress out. If you are in the New York area, you will still have a chance to catch them at a very special show on March 11, 2009 at Carnegie Hall. Vic Chesnutt, backed by Elf Power, will be a part of a 20-artist performance of the R.E.M. catalogue!
